The DSW is a professional doctorate rather than a “research degree.” All doctorate students learn how to evaluate and apply research.  However, professional doctorate programs are about the application of research to practice.  Learners will have the opportunity conduct a project that will advance their research knowledge while contributing to their development as practitioners in their field.
